Runway Rugs

The Runway Rug design is manufactured on the high quality DigiPrint HD product from Logo Mats, LLC.

The DigiPrint HD product is for indoor use. The fabric fibers are stain resistant and 100% recycled from plastic bottles. The rubber backing is cleated, non-slick, Nitrite rubber, with a thickness of 90mil. For high traffic areas the lifespan is 3 to 5 years.

The Standard Runway Rugs all come with the same color scheme and runway numbers. A discount is provided in the price because these are already designed, and all we have to do is place the order with the manufacturer.

The custom runway numbers are done by changing the standard rug to your choice of numbers, while keeping the same markings. The colors can also be customized to your choice.

The runway images shown here are just examples. Not that you would nessarily want to choose these colors, but the point is that you could.

These runway rugs are totally customized. Your choice of size, numbers, markings, colors, etc. With all of the possible permutations available, the "Sky is the limit!"

For custom runway rugs there is a separate charge for artwork design, plus the mat retail price.

To make a really long runway rug, multiple rugs can be put together end-to-end. For example:

Two 3x10s to create a 3x20 runway
Two 4x8s to create a 4x16 runway
Two 5x10s to create a 5x20 runway
Three 5x10s to create a 5x30 runway
Four 5x10s to create a 5x40 runway

Eagle County Regional Airport KEGE

Eagle, CO

The Eagle County Regional airport in Eagle, CO has a precision and a non-precision runways. This design is done across four separate mats to make 5' wide by 38' long runway rug. This is huge! But look at the details that can be done with the larger mat sizes that are available. Here at Smith Rugs we pay attention to all of the details of the airport runway being designed. This design even includes the displaced threshold on runway 25.

As stated above, the actual mat product that we use is the DigiPrint HD, which has 150 colors to choose from. Rather than providing all 150 colors, there are 60 colors shown below from the ColorStar Impressions product at Logo Mats. This gives an idea of the color possibilities that are available.
